The Law of Ueki is a Japanese manga series by Tsubasa Fukuchi in 2005.It was then broadcasted into an anime series in 2007.I was around 11 years old that time and  when I first saw the series I fell in love with it straight away. The Law of  Ueki is different compared to other anime. Honestly, I hate watching anime but it is a different case for The Law of Ueki it is so intriguing that every time I come back from home I have to watch the series.

Well about the series, the story starts out with the Battle of the Supernatural Powers, a tournament to decide who will be the next god of The Celestial World (rendered as God Candidates).Ueki is a normal human being like all of us but one day his teacher who was special has the ability to give powers to people. He admired Ueki's modest and enthusiastic character. To be exact, Ueki is a student who does not give up easily, he would try his best until he succeeds. Well his teacher Kobayashi likes his character thus he entrusted him with a special ability or to be precise a superpower. The superpower was to change trash into trees and from then and there his life changed 360 degrees.

Ueki had to join matches against other people who had superpowers like him. So the journey starts by battling other god candidates and whoever wins would get the title The New God of Heaven and the winning student will receive the Blank Zai (or talent), a talent that can be anything they choose.Well honestly even I would be intrigued and motivated to win the title who does not want an ability you yourself can choose.

The battle was not easy, most of the fighters were sadist and evil and they just want the title for bad reasons. Ueki had to battle against heartless people. During the battle Ueki received sacred powers which were very useful. The sacred weapons ranged from level 1-10 whereby 1 is the weakest and 10 is the best weapon. After hundreds of battles it all ends with a final battle with Ueki and a psycho candidate who just wants to kill everything.

I would not want to spoil the ending of the story but just a hint, the ending of the story is very touching and unpredictable which is a thumbs up. I really recommend this anime to other people as it is worth wasting your time for. It even makes you want to watch it repeatedly without feeling bored.

I will give it a full rating which is 10/10.
